Oversized T-Shirts for Women

Women's oversized t-shirts in India have a sizing problem. Most brands either sell menswear relabeled (so the shoulder drop is too far, the body too boxy) or "women's oversized" that's actually a regular fit with a wider hem. Neither reads right.

This edit solves for women's proportions specifically. Shoulder drop is calibrated to 2–3 cm past the natural shoulder — enough to read oversized, not so much that the neckline slips. Body length hits upper thigh on a 5'5" frame (adjust up if you're taller), which stacks cleanly over high-waisted jeans and wide-leg trousers. Chest is shaped with a slight taper so the tee doesn't look like a sack.

Sizing runs XS through XXL. If you usually wear a small in a regular women's tee, order XS or S in oversized — same logic as menswear, our oversized cut runs a size larger than our regular fit by design. Between sizes, go smaller for a closer oversized look, larger for a more boyfriend-style slouch.

Fabric is the same premium combed cotton we use across the men's edit — 180 GSM baseline, some heavier pieces in the 220 GSM range for that substantial drape. Pre-shrunk, so the fit you wear on day one holds. All colours run the muted palette that works for aesthetic streetwear: off-white, black, beige, olive, dusty rose, washed lavender.

For styling: the Y2K-inspired formula is oversized tee + low-rise baggy jeans + chunky sneakers or loafers. The cleaner take — oversized tee tucked loosely into high-waisted straight denim with white sneakers. For layering, a cropped cardigan or shirt over a long oversized tee gives proportion. Shorts and an oversized tee is the default summer fit in Pune and Mumbai.

Women in the BROHH community wear oversized tees across occasions — college, cafes, office-casual (paired with straight pants), weekends. The versatility is the point.
